I have ordered the first gorgeous pieces of Ivy & Bell stock! Squeee! I am so excited (plus a little terrified!).
It has been a long time coming.
However, I am so glad that I didn’t rush. I needed the space to understand what I wanted to add to Ivy & Bell’s first collection.
I absolutely love all the decorative accessories that I have selected.
This momentous (for me!) occasion makes me think about my small business journey so far.
In January 2022, I decided to launch a small online business. After a lot of research (and mind maps!), I chose Christmas.
It was actually at Spring Fair 2022 that I decided to start a business selling beautiful, heirloom Christmas decorations.
It was in equal parts an emotional and a business decision! I just love all things Christmas!
However, Ivy & Bell will not just offer a Christmas collection. We will soon also include a range of stunning autumn accessories and lovely interior pieces to enjoy all year round.
I have spent the last year researching suppliers, learning about postage and packaging and planning my first collection.
Of course, this is still just the beginning. I still have a lot to do… and I cannot wait for what comes next!
